Why Give?

Urban Born is well aware and effectively treats the most stubborn inner-city challenges and especially those within the public school systems. Drugs, literacy, gang involvement, truancy and low graduation rates are among the most persistent issues in disadvantaged communities. Urban Born addresses these subjects with incredible ease and with profound results. Through its “Mental Straight” & “Life Choices” media content, programs and seminars, students learn both how and why to make better life-style decisions while understanding “It’s easier to catch on now, than to catch up later.” Partner with us in help young people realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. Your donation will help bring our important message of self empowerment and better life-style choices to more students at more schools; thus, improving their lives and our communities nationwide. Urban Born Nonprofit is exempt from federal income tax under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code and contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. All contributions will be formally acknowledged. A copy of Urban Born Nonprofit’s annual financial report is available upon request.
